YWCA San Antonio will celebrate the grand opening of its Women’s Live and Learn Center and the groundbreaking of the Harvey Najim Early Childhood Education and Care Center at 10 a.m. Jan. 8 at the Women’s Live and Learn Center campus, 2318 Castroville Road.

The Women’s Live and Learn Center is designed to provide supportive four-year housing, workforce development and case management services for women aged 18-26. The new Harvey Najim Early Childhood Education and Care Center will offer affordable, high-quality childcare for working families in San Antonio.
Women’s Live and Learn Center services include:
- Trauma-informed case management
- Workforce training
- Navigation to post-secondary education or degree programs
- Early childhood education
- Financial literacy and homeownership training
Additionally, the center will provide up to four years of on-site housing for women with and without children.
The grand opening and groundbreaking ceremony will feature remarks from Bexar County Judge Peter Sakai, Precinct 1 Commissioner Rebeca Clay-Flores, Mayor Ron Nirenberg, District 5 council member Teri Castillo and philanthropist Harvey Najim.
