IVX Health, a national provider of outpatient infusion and injection centers, announced the opening of four new infusion centers in San Antonio June 11, including a Stone Oak location.

The setup

According to a news release, IVX Health officials said they offer an innovative approach to biologic infusion for outpatients, who receive care from trained nurse practitioners and registered nurses specializing in infusion therapy.

IVX Health offers injections and infusions for various conditions such as chronic migraine headaches, Crohn’s Disease, gout, arthritis and lupus.

IVX Health representatives also said their locations provide a comfortable, convenient environment for patients with comprehensive safety standards and protocols. Company representatives added that their nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 ensures patients receive the individualized, private care and attention.


A closer look

IVX Health’s first San Antonio clinic, at the Stone Ridge Market retail center, is accepting new patient referrals. The company seeks further expansion in the San Antonio with planned locations in Alamo Heights, Alamo Ranch and New Braunfels.

Doug Ghertner, chief executive officer of IVX Health, said his Tennessee-based company is excited to continue their growth across Texas. The company now has locations in 14 states.
