Los Angeles-based developer CIM Group announced June 7 that it signed a long-term lease with Homesense, a spinoff of HomeGoods, to occupy a 30,256-square-foot space at the Northwoods Shopping Center in north central San Antonio.

Homesense offers an array of furniture for every room and outdoors, and home design materials such as wallpaper, bathroom fixtures, lighting, and décor.

Other items include lighting, rugs, art works, baskets, bins, and cleaning supplies, and content for entertaining, such as bar serveware.

According to a news release, Homesense will occupy a building vacated by Bed Bath & Beyond in 2023.

Northwoods Shopping Center, near Hollywood Park, contains 50-plus shops and restaurants, including H-E-B, Barnes & Noble, Nordstrom Rack, Marshall’s, Fish City Grill, La Madeleine French Bakery & Café, Chick-fil-A; and a Regal Cinemas.

A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation states that Homesense will undertake a $2.1 million renovation project at Northwoods in early July and wrap up the project in early January 2025.
