What happened
According to a May 30 news release, Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty represented the seller of the building at 9715 San Pedro Ave., where restauranteur Lisa Wong ran a north side Rosario’s location from March 2014 until spring 2023.
Wong then closed the north side Rosario’s site and consolidated restaurant operations at a Southtown location, Rosario's ComidaMex and Bar.
Prior to housing Rosario’s, the 12,500-square-foot property on San Pedro Avenue housed Maggie’s, a long-established Italian restaurant.
The approach
The release states that TJ Beauty will turn the former north side Rosario’s building into Lucky Nail Supply, a premier beauty supplier specializing in nail supplies and boutique products.
Store items range from varieties of nail polish, acrylic and dipping powders and liquids to nail brushes, gels, drill machines and nail lamps.
Officials with TJ Beauty have not shared an opening date or other details about Lucky Nail Supply. One existing Lucky Nail Supply store is located on North Lamar Boulevard in Austin.
