One bank branch recently relocated, and a new dog day care franchise and a pizzeria opened this month in North San Antonio.
Security Service Federal Credit Union moved its Park North retail center location to the SWBC tower, 9311 San Pedro Ave., Ste. 150, on Aug. 15.
According to a news release, the new location just north of Loop 410 features easier access, more parking space, drive-thru lanes and an ATM to expedite transactions as well as other services, such as safe deposit boxes.

Sofia’s Pizzeria opened its third location Aug. 10 at 4419 E. Evans Road. Sofia’s offers more than a dozen varieties of pizza1 as well as wings, subs, calzones, pastas, salads and cheesesteak.
Sofia’s provides catering, and diners may dine in or get a menu item to go. Additionally, Sofia’s Pies for Children’s program donates $0.35 for every 18-inch pizza sold in a specific month to a local children’s nonprofit organization.

Dogtopia, which provides dog day care and boarding services, is having a grand opening for a new San Antonio location Aug. 19 at 3814 Broadway St.
