Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is opening a new west San Antonio location April 13-15 with free tire pressure checks among the grand opening weekend offerings.

Stephens Ranch Express Oil Change and Tire Engineers, located at 14204 Potranco Road, is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.

A news release said during business hours April 13-15, customers may receive a free tire pressure check and take advantage of free refreshments and branded merchandise giveaways.

The San Antonio Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. April 14, an event that is also free and open to the public.

During opening weekend, Express will also offer discounts on many services, including: a $100 discount with the purchase of a set of four tires, a 50% discount on any full-service oil change, a $20 discount on alignment, 10% discount on mechanical services, and a $20 discount on fuel system cleaning, company officials said.

Company representatives are emphasizing the importance of tire pressure checks, saying incorrect tire pressure can hurt fuel economy and increase wear and tear on one’s tires.

According to company officials, Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers also provides no-appointment-required oil changes as well as automotive services and repairs by appointment.

The release said the Stephens Ranch storefront is the third location in the San Antonio area and the 28th in Texas.
