A new event and wedding venue has opened for the 2026-2027 wedding season along the Comal River in New Braunfels.
What we know
Canopy on the Comal opened on Jan. 6 at 444 E. San Antonio St. and is now accepting reservations for the upcoming season, company officials confirmed in an email to Community Impact.
The venue is owned and operated by husband-and-wife duo Greg and Monique Weston. The Westons also oversee 444 Tubing Company, according to previous reporting from Community Impact.
Canopy on the Comal offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for weddings, parties and corporate events. The venue’s total capacity is approximately 700 guests, while indoor rooms can hold anywhere between 100 and 200 people, according to the email.
Looking ahead
To kick off the season at the venue, a free open house will take place on Feb. 26 from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. The event will feature a free yoga class, coffee and cookies.
