An event and dining venue has announced its closure in New Braunfels after nearly a decade in the community.

What’s happening

The Sylver Spoon Dinner Theater officially closed its doors at 6700 N. I-35 on Aug. 28, according to a Facebook post.

The venue, located next to Texas Ski Ranch, opened in 2017 and is owned by sisters Tori, Madison and Sylver Monaco.

The Monaco sisters said all events and gift cards for the theater will be honored through the remainder of September at their other event venue, The Abbott House, located at 907 N. Austin St. in Seguin.

Sylver Spoon Dinner Theater actors and chefs served full, three-course meals to go along with interactive murder mystery events.

“While this chapter closes, our story continues at The Abbott House in Seguin,” the Monacos said in the Facebook post.

Events like Date Night Comedy and Music Bingo will continue at the Abbott House.
