A new “full service” RV resort opened just off Walnut Avenue near the Town Creek neighborhood in New Braunfels dubbed Camp Landa.

The gist

The RV resort offers 116 RV sites as well as five cabins to stay in with a text-for-concierge service; on-site laundry; a heated pool with a swim-up bar; a restaurant that serves American cuisine and a full bar inside the restaurant; a variety of outdoor activities including basketball, pickleball and sand volleyball courts; and more.

A grand opening and ribbon cutting will take place May 23.

What they’re saying

“It's a cool resort experience with full resort amenities in the heart of New Braunfels, but you bring your own RV,” said Tasha Blythin, who owns the resort along with her husband, Stuart Blythin. “We're in the heart of everything. ... You can come set up your camper here, go to Fredericksburg for a day, go to Natural Bridge Caverns, go down in San Antonio, go to Wimberley, [go] to Austin—see all that stuff with just being in one place and not having to hook up your RV, relocate it and reset it up.”
