The ninth annual Cibolo BBQ Cookoff will be returning April 28-29 with barbecue experts of the area competing for the bragging rights of the best barbecue.
Four barbecue categories will be judged, which includes brisket, chicken, ribs and Cook’s Choice. A dessert category will also be added this year.
The event serves as a fundraiser for local charities and to offer scholarships for Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD students.
Barbecue cookoffs will be held April 29, and the dessert competition will be held April 28. Alongside the April 29 competition, there will be a cornhole tournament, a 5K and other activities for attendees to participate in.
