Check out 3 Easter events in the Boerne area

In celebration of Easter, the city of Boerne and other organizations are preparing family-friendly events April 11 and 12. Check out these three events happening in the area. This list is not comprehensive. Events are subject to change.

Boerne's Easter Celebration

Each spring, the Boerne Parks and Recreation department and Boerne Police Officers Association hosts an Easter egg hunt alongside other activities at Boerne City Lake Park. The egg hunt is planned to be divided into different age groups, and is expected to begin around 11:45 a.m. Prior to the hunt, photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny will be available, and crafts will be set up around the park.

Boerne YMCA Easter celebration

The Boerne YMCA will host an evening Easter egg hunt, also featuring the Easter Bunny and a variety of crafts for families to enjoy. The egg hunt is limited to children between 6 weeks and 12 years old. Registration for the event is required with limited remaining spots.

2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Care Choice of Boerne

The 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Care Choice of Boerne invites families out for a late afternoon egg hunt and photos with the Easter Bunny. The egg hunt will feature a select number of golden eggs containing prizes. Following the hunt, hot dogs will be served for attendees.
