Go to a Christmas Market

Garden Ridge Market Days will host a Christmas Festival with about 150 local craft, food and farm vendors. The market offers one-stop holiday shopping and children’s activities with a visit from Santa. 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. (market hours), 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (pictures with Santa). Free (admission). Enjoy Christmas cookies with a cop

The Selma Police Department will have Christmas cookies, and children can take pictures with Blue Santa. This event also invites optional donations of new, unwrapped toys for the Toys Not Tickets Program. 9 a.m.-noon. Free. John P. Harrison House, 9046 Pinseeker, Selma. 210-651-6661.

Watch a holiday parade

The city of Cibolo will host a free holiday parade featuring local businesses, individuals and a special guest appearance from Santa.
