If elected, what would your top priorities be?

My top priorities would be to focus on enhancing the quality of life by investing in the town’s infrastructure such as repairing the roads, enhancing/updating parks, pool, community center, and focusing on potential impacts of Loop 1604 expansion (i.e., sound, increase thoroughfare traffic, and safety). Additionally, I would prioritize community engagement and communication to ensure that residents are involved in the decision-making process as the town changes demographically and businesses grow or change. All voices need to be heard and considered.

What are some of the biggest challenges facing Hollywood Park?

Changing demographics, infrastructure, citizen safety, growth and Loop 1604 expansion.

What or who prompted you to run for public office?

I was prompted to run for office by my interest in politics and desire to utilize my experience and knowledge gained from serving in the U.S. Navy several years in Washington, D.C., working for the governor of Puerto Rico on environmental issues, and coordinating with local city organizations in the growth of their communities. After living in Hollywood Park for almost seven years and getting a good feel for the community, I felt it was time to go to work in my community to help assist in making it a better place today, tomorrow and into the future.

If elected, what would your top priorities be?

Advocate for much-needed cooperation between city government and community organizations to maintain the community feel of Hollywood Park; push for conservative spending of tax dollars and properly funding street maintenance.

The growth around Hollywood Park affecting the quality of life in Hollywood Park in a negative way.

What or who prompted you to run for public office?

The opportunity to give back to the town I love.
