The city of Boerne and Boerne ISD are scheduled to canvas the results of the May 3 election and prepare for the swearing in of the new elected officials.

The city of Boerne will canvass the results on May 13, which indicated that Mayor Frank Ritchie will hold his seat while Joe Bateman takes the City Council, District 2 seat.
While the canvassing of votes is scheduled for May 13, the swearing in ceremony for City Council is planned for the May 27 meeting, Communications Director Chris Shadrock said.
Alongside city official results, four city charter propositions will also be canvassed during the May 13 meeting, extending the term limit of council members from two to three years. Boerne City Council meetings are held at 6 p.m. at the city council chambers, located at 447 N Main St, Boerne.
