Candidate applications for Boerne's May 2 election open Jan. 14

The city of Fair Oaks Ranch has two City Council seats on the May ballot, with races for Places 2 and 6, held by Keith Rhoden and Jonathan Swarek, respectively. Candidates vying for a place on the ballot must be residents of the city for at least one year. Additional information on Fair Oaks Ranch elections can be found here.

The city of Boerne will also have two City Council races on the May 2 ballot, including District 1, held by Ty Wolosin, and District 3, held by Kyle Mickelsen.

Boerne candidates must be at least 21 years old and must have lived in the community for at least a year. Boerne election information can be found here.

Looking ahead

The deadline to submit a candidate application is Feb. 13. The last day to register to vote in the election is April 2, and early voting will begin April 20.
