Stephanie Faulkner was appointed the District 2 trustee for the Judson ISD board of trustees on Aug. 17.
According to JISD staff, Faulkner was the lone applicant for the position, which was left vacant following Shatonya King stepping down in July.
Faulkner is a JISD alumna who retired from teaching after 31 years in the field.
Since she is filling a vacant seat, Faulkner will serve the remainder of King’s term, which will end in May 2025.
