Two north San Antonio City Council members will host back-to-school activities for local young families over the first weekend of August.

District 9 council member John Courage and District 10 council member Marc Whyte’s offices will host public events where students can pick up a variety of school essentials.
Visitors to Courage’s Aug. 2 event can get free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, dental kits, as well as immunization information and paletas, while supplies last.
