Thatta Boy Burgers closes in Stone Oak after less than a year

After opening in June, Stone Oak burger spot Thatta Boy Burgers is now closed.

The restaurant, owned by Tara Garcia, shared the decision to close in a Jan. 6 Facebook post.

“After careful consideration, we have decided to close Thatta Boy Burgers,” the business wrote. “While we’ve enjoyed serving the Stone Oak community, unforeseen circumstances have led to this difficult decision.”

Thatta Boy Burgers offered made-to-order old-fashioned beef burgers, turkey burgers and milkshakes.
