Pink Catrina Taco Club opens in Hollywood Park

Pink Catrina Taco Club will have a grand opening at 8 p.m. Jan. 19 at 16111 San Pedro Ave., Ste. A-100, in Hollywood Park.

Located in the Galleria Oaks retail center, Pink Catrina offers a variety of tacos alongside tortas, burritos and quesadillas.

The restaurant also has soups, Mexican street-style snacks and desserts. Additionally, there is a full bar.

Pink Catrina hosted a tasting of some menu items on Jan. 14. Owner Eddie Brhellan said Pink Catrina originated as a food truck but has grown popular with customers and evolved into a brick-and-mortar concept.

Brhellan said Pink Catrina is focused on highlighting authentic Mexican recipes. Pink Catrina will also make food items available for delivery through UberEats, Doordash and Grubhub.

Brhellan also said Pink Catrina is designed to be a restaurant with a lounge vibe with DJs, bottle service and VIP offerings.

Brhellan said he and his colleagues will use Pink Catrina’s social media to keep the public updated on the restaurant’s development and progress.
