A seventh location for Mattenga’s Pizzeria is scheduled to formally open April 6 in north central San Antonio.

Representatives for the growing local pizza chain said the new restaurant is located at Tap Rack Social, an event venue, in the Legacy Shops retail center near the US 281/Loop 1604 interchange. The shopping center is situated a few miles from Hollywood Park as well as the Stone Oak and Encino Park neighborhoods.

Grand opening activities at the new Mattenga’s are slated for 6-9 p.m. April 6.

Mattenga’s features a range of housemade pizzas with cauliflower, gluten-free and vegan options. They also offer calzones, wings, salads, desserts, bake-at-home pizza kits and “rolls”—pizza dough filled with mozzarella cheese and other ingredients.
