Chipotle Mexican Grill is exploring options for a location in Boerne, a representative confirmed in an email.
While the chain was not able to name an exact location of a Boerne store, a listing from the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration shows a store planned for the Boerne Town Center development off I-10.
The details
During an April 15 Neighborhood Discussion Meeting, which highlighted a second Starbucks location, site plans showed a neighboring Chipotle off Herff Road.
Since that meeting, a TDLR filing showed that Chipotle was now proposed to be in the Boerne Town Center, which is planned to house chain restaurants such as Chicken Salad Chick, Panda Express and other options.
According to the listing, the Chipotle development is planned to be completed by the end of 2025.
Chipotle operates more than 1,000 locations across the country, offering tacos, burritos, and salad bowls.
