Chipotle is exploring options for a Schertz location, a spokesperson said in an email.
What we know
A listing through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation states the project would begin in June 2025, and be constructed on property owned by Schertz Station, LTD.
Schertz Station is a mixed-use development to be constructed at the corner of I-35 and Cibolo Valley Drive, near EVO Entertainment.
The development will feature retail and commercial properties backed by multifamily residential, similar to the Cibolo Crossing development across Cibolo Valley Drive.
While the TDLR listing states Chipotle will open a location along Cibolo Valley Drive, Chipotle representatives were unable to confirm a location at this time.

With more than 3,500 locations across the world, Chipotle offers create-your-own, Mexican-inspired food including burritos, tacos, salads, bowls and more.
While the new location would be the first in Schertz. The chain has nearby locations in Cibolo, Selma and Universal City.
