Cibolo City Council to discuss Old Town mixed-use overlay district Jan. 10

Cibolo City Council on Jan. 10 will discuss the process to amend or remove the Old Town mixed-use overlay district and rezoning of properties.

The overlay district was created in 2007 and is intended to provide a cohesive set of design and use standards for properties within the boundaries, according to city documents.

Council will be given a presentation and have discussion regarding the steps necessary for amending or removing the overlay district.

There will also be discussion on the council’s preference for community engagement on the project.

Cibolo City Council meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. and are held at City Hall, located at 200 S. Main St., Cibolo.
