Texas DMV Regional Service Center moves to Rolling Oaks Mall

The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles San Antonio Regional Service Center location at 15150 Nacogdoches Road, Ste. 100, San Antonio, has relocated across Loop 1604 to Rolling Oaks Mall.

The details

On Oct. 4, the Nacogdoches Road location closed to begin the relocation process. Texas DMV is located on the bottom floor of Rolling Oaks Mall near JC Penny and the University of the Incarnate Word - Northeast Center.

According to a Sept. 24 news release, the new space allows the TxDMV to improve the customer service experience by offering more parking, a larger seating area and convenience for customers who can browse the mall before or after an appointment.

What else?

The facility provides services to 17 counties in the San Antonio area, with services including:

• Replacement titles
• Bonded title rejection letters
• Title history inquiries
• Title error resolution
• Apportioned registration for motor carriers
• Vehicle transfer notifications

Services do not include title and registration services, including registration renewals and title applications, or drivers license services.

These services are provided through the county tax assessor-collectors’ offices in each county, and the Texas Department of Public Safety, respectively.
