A new spot for mesquite-smoked barbecue is on its way to downtown Universal City.

Seguin-based Davila’s BBQ is opening a second overall location in Universal City at 316 Pat Booker Road, according to a Facebook post from the business.
The new restaurant could open sometime this spring, officials from the restaurant told Community Impact. The barbecue joint will take up residence in the former home of Youz Guyz Cheesesteaks, which closed in December, according to previous reporting from Community Impact.
