Jesus Saenz, director of airports for the City of San Antonio, said the store reflects the men and women who serve this nation and call San Antonio home.
“It's so especially meaningful to us to have a store that honors the identity and celebrates our city's military heritage,” Saenz said.
Jeff Coyle, San Antonio assistant city manager, said the Military City USA brand is a city trademark that they are proud to associate with the newest store in the SA Airport.
“Every single person that walks through here is going to see this [store] on their way out the door to go experience our city,” Coyle said. “[With this trademark] we're able to buy products that have the military City USA logo and trademark on it. I'm predicting that these are going to sell like hot cakes.”
