A locally-owned ice cream parlor in Northeast San Antonio is celebrating its 5th year serving customers in the area.
Taking a step back
Randy G’s Homemade Ice Cream—located at 1420 Schertz Parkway, Ste. 240—will be celebrating its 5-year anniversary in September.
The business is owned by local duo Randy and Trisha Gentry, who first opened the ice cream parlor in 2021, according to previous reporting from Community Impact.
“Man does time fly when you're having fun. It's been so great meeting so many of you and being part of your lives and community here,” Randy Gentry said in a Jan. 1 Facebook post.
What they offer
Randy G’s Homemade Ice Cream serves handmade, specialty ice cream in various flavors, including Double Chocolate, Java Chip, Lil’ Blue Panda and more. The ice cream shop also opened Energy Island Healthy Tea and Shake Shop inside the business in November, as previously reported by Community Impact.
