New winery to open on School Street in Boerne this spring

A new winery is set to debut soon in Boerne.

Missick Cellars plans to open a tasting room at 941 N. School Street in Boerne this spring, Co-owners Chris and Laure Missick told Community Impact.

The pair moved to Boerne in 2024 and established an LLC for their new winery. Chris Missick said he has been making his own wine for the tasting room since.

The winery will specialize in white and sparkling wines, Missick said. Bottles will be sourced from his previous winery in the Finger Lakes region of New York State and vintners, or wine producers, from the Texas Hill Country.
