Medical staffing agency to celebrate 10 years in Schertz

A local healthcare agency is recognizing a big milestone this year in Northeast San Antonio.

What’s happening

Schertz-based Quality Response Medical Staffing, or QRMS, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary with a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 7. The event will take place from 3-9 p.m. at 628 South Santa Rosa Ave. in downtown San Antonio, according to The Chamber (Schertz-Cibolo-Selma Area) website.

QRMS is a medical staffing agency founded by Flora Elizabeth Hooks, which helps connect prospective healthcare workers with local area hospitals, according to its website.

QRMS was established in March 2016 after Hooks saw a need for a more compassionate and caring staffing agency in South Central Texas.
