Alamo City Military Surplus Store opens in Universal City

A new military surplus store opened in Universal City on Nov. 29.

Alamo City Military Surplus Store offers previously owned military equipment, clothing and gear.

The gist

Alongside the offering of equipment in the store, the business also has a website set up to receive online orders. Certain items cannot be shipped to some states based on laws and regulations.

The store also buys military equipment that members of the community may own and want to get rid of.

To celebrate the grand opening of the new business, officials from the city of Universal City will host a ribbon cutting event at 10 a.m. on Jan. 3.
