The local organic supermarket Nature’s Presence officially recognized its 20th anniversary in business on Nov. 5 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Current owners Lance and Mary Lira took over the store in 2022, and the previous owners began the business in 2005.
“We’ve been in Boerne for 22 years,” Lira said. “[The store] was the perfect fit.”
Staying local
Nature’s Presence is stocked with organic groceries, supplements and care products, staff told Community Impact.
For groceries, there’s locally-sourced frozen meats, snacks, honey, sauces and more, plus organic pet food.
Supplements range from essential oils to vitamins, minerals and CBD lotions and gummies, according to the grocer’s website.
There’s also a variety of personal hygiene supplies like lotions, shampoos and conditioners at the shop.
