About the project
The Harrell Parkway reconstruction is a central component of the $259 million Old Settlers Park Buildout, funded largely by Round Rock’s 2023 voter-approved bonds.
The project will reconstruct Harrell Parkway into a two-lane rural roadway with dedicated left-turn lanes at key intersections.
A new bridge is being built to replace the existing low-water crossing at McNutt Creek, elevating both the roadway and adjacent trail out of the floodplain.
Additional pedestrian improvements include a new underpass and bridge that separate foot traffic from vehicles, improving access between sports complexes, playgrounds and other park amenities.
