Kevin Klosterboer named Round Rock CFO

Susan Morgan retired from her position as the city of Round Rock's chief financial officer after 10 years with the city. City Council introduced Kevin Klosterboer as the new CFO at its meeting Feb. 13.

Some background

Morgan is a certified public accountant with a degree in accounting from Texas Tech University. She served as the finance director for the city of Georgetown before coming to Round Rock in 2015.

What's next?

Klosterboer comes from the city of Cedar Park, where he worked as the financial director, and previously served as Round Rock's budget manager. He has a master's in public administration from the University of Kentucky and double majored in political science and biology at Knox College.

He started his new position Feb. 10.
