Round Rock community members have an opportunity to highlight local leaders in nominations for the city's Local Legends recognition program.
What you need to know
The city is accepting nominations for the recognition program through June 30, according to a June 10 announcement. Recommendations must have a direct tie to the city of Round Rock or help tell the city's story.
About the program
Community members can recommend individuals or members of families who made significant contributions to the city of Round Rock at least 30 years ago, as well as organizations, businesses, groups, publications and institutions that have made a "lasting impact" on the city.
Local Legends are selected by the Round Rock Historic Preservation Commission from a pool of nominations submitted by the public.
What's next?
Nominations must be submitted using the city's form. They can be submitted by emailing [email protected] or mailing a hard copy to Local Legend Nominations, Planning & Development Services Department, 301 W. Bagdad Ave. Suite 210, Round Rock, TX 78664.
