Located near the existing medical facility campus at 300 University Blvd., the new building and expansion of the medical center will include:

• Laboratory and pharmacy expansions

According to an annual report produced by the facility, Baylor Scott & White is the largest not-for-profit health care system in Texas. The corporation regularly conducts community assessment surveys to understand the specific health needs of the communities it serves.

Emergency department visits are expected to grow nearly 19% by 2025, according to the 2022 report, with preventative screenings, access to primary care and adult obesity ranking the highest in a list of greatest needs for the greater Austin area.
