Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt is expected to open a new location in Round Rock. This would be the first location in Round Rock, with the closest current location in Pflugerville at 2324 Dessau Road, Ste. 204. The business offers a range of flavors, which vary by location, including banana pudding, blue raspberry tart and orange cream bar.

Specialty candy retailer IT'SUGAR will open a new store in the Round Rock Premium Outlets later this spring, a representative of Simon Malls confirmed with Community Impact. The new location will be located next door to The Children’s Place within the shopping mall. The business, which has one location at The Domain in Austin, sells classic and oversized candy, as well as apparel, accessories and novelty gifts.

A new storage facility is coming to Caruso Lane, between the city limits of Georgetown and Round Rock. Stellar Enclosed Storage, locally owned by Eric and Michelle Klingemann, is targeted to open later this year. The pair also own Executive Enclosed Storage at 1531 Red Bud Lane, Round Rock, which opened in December of 2021, and operated Sam Bass Covered Storage prior to its closure to make way for a road widening project.
