Williamson County offices will be closed on July 4 in observance of Independence Day. All offices will reopen on July 5, according to a June 25 news release. The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter's Inner Loop location—1855 S.E. Inner Loop, Georgetown—will be open for cat adoptions Monday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The WCRAS Canine Corral, located at 425 E. Morrow St., Georgetown, will be open for dog adoptions Monday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Canine Corral also will stay open one hour later on July 4, until 7 p.m. In addition, the commissioners court will not meet for its regular Tuesday meeting on July 3 and will resume its regular schedule on July 10 at 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioners Courtroom on the second floor of the historic courthouse, 710 S. Main St., Georgetown.
