After running unopposed in Pflugerville ISD's board of trustees election, Larry Bradley will be sworn in at the board's May 15 meeting.
Bradley replaces Jimmy Don Havins, who was first elected in 2005. Havins said he enjoyed his time serving on the board, but is stepping down to better meet the demands of his job at the Lower Colorado River Authority.
"When you sit on the school board, you need to be able to spend a lot of time with it," Havins said. "I reached a point in my career when I'm taking on more responsibility at work, and I felt it was a good time to transition out and get some new thoughts in."
