Nighttime closures are planned on and around US 75 from July 23-26 while an arch is installed on the Silver Line bridge over the highway.
Crews will install a 400-foot decorative steel arch on the north side of the highway. An arch on the south side was installed earlier this summer as part of Dallas Area Rapid Transit’s Silver Line bridge.
What you need to know
The installation will take place overnight from July 23-26, so road closures will only be in effect at night:
- July 23, 9 p.m.-4 a.m.: full closure of southbound US 75 frontage road; temporary rolling closures through US 75/Renner Road intersection and northbound frontage road
- July 24, 9 p.m.-6 a.m.: full closures of southbound and northbound US 75 main lanes and eastbound and westbound President George Bush Turnpike direct connect ramps to southbound US 75
- July 25, 9 p.m.-8 a.m.: full closure of northbound US 75 main lanes and northbound US 75 Exit 28B to President George Bush Turnpike ramps; left-lane closure on northbound US 75 frontage road
- July 26, 8 p.m.-5 a.m.: full closure of southbound US 75 frontage road and Exit 27 to Renner Road
