Dallas Area Rapid Transit purchased 476 compressed natural gas buses, according to a news release issued by the organization.
The purchase was supplemented by a $103 million federal grant and is a step in DART’s mission to become a “best-in-class” mobility partner in North Texas through its DART Transform Program, the release said.
