Work crews are expected to conduct concrete repairs and add an asphalt overlay along four streets in Richardson this fall, City Manager Don Magner said.
The project is expected to cost over $4.3 million and last into early parts of 2025, according to the city’s project’s map.
What’s happening?
Magner said crews will mill the existing asphalt off the road, perform full depth repairs on the concrete base of the street and apply a new layer of asphalt as part of the project. He added that the fresh layer of asphalt should improve the aesthetics and drivability of the road along with protecting the concrete base underneath.
