A new private high school for girls could be coming to Richardson after the city plan commission voted to recommend approval to City Council in the Dec. 17 meeting.

The commission recommended approval for a special-use permit for Mesorah High School for Girls on a 3.5-acre lot with a 23,512-square-foot building located at 2101 Waterview Parkway.
The school is a private, Orthodox Jewish high school currently located in Dallas that will relocate to Richardson, if approved by City Council. It has an enrollment of about 60 students.
