A team of Richardson High School students placed second in the advanced category at Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s CodeWars 2019, a computer-programming competition held March 2 in Houston. Hundreds of students participate in programming challenges throughout the day with trophies awarded to the top competitors in each of two classifications—novice and advanced. Each team races to solve as many coding problems as possible in three hours, all while wearing costumes.
