Salam Juice & Mutbaq is now open in The Arabian Village in Richardson, serving handmade Yemeni mutabbaq, crispy stuffed flatbread that can be sweet or savory. Owner Emad Saif said traditional Yemeni mutabbaq includes eggs and green onion, but Salam will offer a variety of flavors.

“[We’re] coming up with different types of flavors, like the chicken, the beef, even the sweet [flavors] like chocolate Dubai,” Saif said.

Salam also serves fresh blended juices, shawarma, falafel and other sides.
