There were 12 new coronavirus cases diagnosed in Richardson residents living in the Dallas County portion of the city between Aug. 25-Sept. 2, according to the county’s dashboard. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in that part of the city to 1,176, data shows.
Collin County announced Aug. 21 that it will no longer report city-specific information. Only data published by the Texas Department of State Health Services will be shared on the county’s dashboard, according to the announcement. The city of Richardson does not report its own case numbers.
In Dallas County, there were 3,524 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus between Aug. 25-Sept. 2, according to the county. The total number of cases in Dallas County was 72,610 as of Sept. 2, according to the county.
