Crow Museum of Asian Art debuts new exhibits at UT Dallas

The Crow Museum of Asian Art, located at the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, debuted two new exhibits this fall.

“Unseen Worlds: Southeast Asian Textiles from the Spancake Collection” opened Aug. 22 and will run through June 20, 2027. The exhibit brings together roughly 150 artifacts, including textiles, jewelry and tattoo implements, from Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and other areas of Southeast Asia.

Multimedia exhibition “The Hedge of Halomancy” combines moving images, poetry and music to explore the history of the Inland Customs Line, a part of British colonial infrastructure in India. The immersive exhibit opened Aug. 29 and will run until Feb. 7, 2027.
