As Collin County remains under an Extreme Cold Warning, services in Prosper and Celina will be affected, according to their websites.

Trash collection has been canceled for Monday, Jan. 26 and Tuesday, Jan. 27 in Prosper and Celina.
Celina trash and recycling services will resume Jan. 28. Customers with Monday and Tuesday trash days will be able to place two additional bags of trash next to their usual carts during regular service next week.
Prosper schedules will be delayed a day. For example, Monday and Tuesday will be collected Wednesday; Wednesday will be collected Thursday and so on, according to an announcement from the town.
Prosper facilities that will be closed Jan. 26-27 due to weather include:
- Prosper Town Hall
- Prosper Community Library
- 407 Rec Center
- Restroom facilities at Frontier Park and Lakewood Park
The Prosper Town Council Meeting and Work Session on Jan. 27 have also been canceled.
The city of Celina will conduct operations remotely, but in-person facilities will be closed Jan. 26-27, including:
- Celina City Hall
- Celina Public Library
- Ralph O’Dell Senior Center
