Drivers in Prosper and Celina are set to see a new speed limit on sections of FM 1385 coming soon.
Prosper Town Council members approved changing the speed limit within town boundaries at their April 7 meeting.
What you need to know
The Texas Department of Transportation recently completed a speed study on FM 1385 from US 380 to FM 455, which stretches through several municipalities, including Prosper. The study showed most drivers were within a range of 47 to 53 mph, while the road’s existing speed limit sits around 55 mph.
