Outback Steakhouse will be opening April 1 in Prosper.

The Australian-themed steakhouse is best known for its steaks, chicken and seafood. It also features appetizers such as the Bloomin’ Onion and offers salads, soups and sides.
The 4,694 square-foot restaurant will feature a spacious dining area and bar. The restaurant seats about 187 guests, with a total occupancy capacity of 219, according to a March 28 news release.
Outback Steakhouse is donating $5,000 of its grand opening proceeds to CASA of Collin County, an advocacy organization for children in foster care, the release stated.
“We’re excited to bring our signature hospitality and bold flavors to the Prosper community,” Eric Sisser, proprietor of the Prosper location, said in the release. “Having worked with Outback for 12 years, I’m looking forward to serving my new neighbors in Prosper.
