Clay Lipscomb, Community Investment Program engineering manager, said the Legacy Corridor project, which includes improvements at Legacy Drive’s intersections with Independence Parkway, Custer Road and K Avenue, will include additional right- and left-turn lanes, and improvements to traffic signals and pedestrian areas. A separate project at the intersection of Legacy Drive and Hedgcoxe Road focuses on a lane offset to the right of turning lanes, which should improve safety, he added.
